沙通社10月13日报道，沙特王储兼首相穆罕默德主持召开的内阁会议做出如下决定。

决议第九项：工业和矿产资源大臣担任对外贸易总局董事会主席（chairman of the board of directors of the General Authority of Foreign Trade），商务大臣担任副主席。

决议第十项：批准将对外贸易总局（the General Authority of Foreign Trade）与沙特出口发展局（the Saudi Export Development Authority）合并为单一实体“对外贸易和出口总局”（the General Authority of Foreign Trade and Export），并指示开展合并的必要准备工作，且在180天内提交任何需要依法采取法律行动的事项。
